The idea behind project aether was to create an asteroid mining drone capable of mining large amount of precious metals on NEO’s (Near Earth Objects). The aesthetic needed to be highly functional and aeronautic to withstand high travelling speeds and harsh environments.

MINING TRIP PHASES
The process of asteroid mining consists of different phases, from deployment from lunar bases, trip progress, landing, to mining. A trip could take between months, to a full year.
